Dialysis services will be housed on the first floor of Quentin Mease Clinic. The new space will continue to offer dialysis Monday through Saturday and can accommodate more training for patients receiving peritoneal dialysis, a self-care procedure done at home. There are now five designated training rooms for up to 100 patients wanting at-home dialysis care.

Additionally, Quentin Mease will offer have more dialysis treatment areas, patient counseling rooms, offices, workstations and warehouse space. Importantly, the new building’s utility infrastructure supports backup systems for electricity and water that are vital to providing uninterrupted dialysis care.

For patients’ convenience, the new location has many more parking spaces in a secure area. It is on a major Metro public transportation line, making it easier for patients to access. Additionally, the facility is near the Texas Medical Center for patients who may require emergency or higher-level care from nearby Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital or other TMC partner hospitals.
